Joining the FHBF is all about no longer being on your own! Once you are a member you have instant support and friendship. You are part of a large group of like-minded people who enjoy sharing their wealth of knowledge and experience of being self employed.

Regional Groups are organised by you, the members, for you, the members, and meet regularly to enjoy training sessions and to exchange ideas at a local level.

If you are fortunate enough to have a group who meet in you area go along and get involved. Be assured you will be made very welcome! If there is not a group in your area, you are still not alone, because you belong to an organisation that is run by freelancers for freelancers. People who really understand you, so make sure you make your membership work for you!

Every regional group has the facility to host its own forum in the exclusive Members Only area of the website, usually managed by the regional rep, so that group members can easily keep in touch and stay up to date with group events.

If you don't have a group close enough to you, then start your own. Organising your own group can be as simple as a phone call to Head office, finding out which other members are in your area and an hour on the phone ringing around to see if anyone else is interested. You could even find yourself appointed as Regional Rep of your very own FHBF regional group.

And don't forget, you don't have to be an FHBF member to come along to Regional Group events and get-togethers, so be sure to invite your friends. If you can encourage them to join the federation, you'll also receive FHBF vouchers you can use towards payment for FHBF training courses.
