The Freelance Hair and Beauty Federation is a non-profit-making organisation that exists to promote the interests of freelance hair stylists and beauty therapists within the industry and to provide benefits and services to its members, including business solutions, training opportunities and much more.

The FHBF is the industry's only official representative body for the freelance operator and works closely with leading manufacturers, training providers and other trade organisations for the benefit of its members. The Federation is unique in that its Executive Directors, Sheila Abrahams and Heather Hopkins, both have extensive knowledge and many years' experience of the hair and beauty industry.

Many leading industry figures recognise the importance of the professional freelance sector, and we have close associations with lots that will be very familiar to you, such as Andrew Barton, Simon Shaw and our very good friend Patrick Cameron, to name just a few. Indeed, if you were at this year's annual Inspirations you will have enjoyed watching and listening to Andrew, Simon and Patrick giving their wonderfully inspirational presentations and demonstrations.

When working solo it's sometimes hard to stay motivated and inspired. The Freelance Hair and Beauty Federation keeps you abreast of the latest trends and will help you keep your fingers on the pulse with motivational seminars by top names and major brand leaders.
